An Award Winning DJ with a career that has taken him across the globe from California to Italy for weddings, parties and corporate events, DJing for the likes of Red Bull, Nando's, The BBC and more. Aamir (AKA DJ Smiles) has DJ'd with names such as Annie Mac, MistaJam (video below), Malkit Singh, Scott Mills, Big Narstie, Zane Lowe, Kristian Nairn (Hodor – Game of Thrones), Charlie Sloth, The Chuckle Brothers (yes!) and others. Aamir has also been featured on The BBC and founded "Beats & Smiles", now focusing exclusively on weddings, parties, corporate events and karaoke nights with a variety of services and packages. He won the 2025 Hitched Wedding Awards for their "Music and DJ's" category.
Aamir initially made his name as Birmingham City University’s Resident DJ before creating "Beats & Smiles" and now gigs nationally and internationally.
